African Journals Online
African Journals Online is a new service which promotes the awareness and use of African-published journals in science and technology by using the Internet to publish current contents, backed up with a document delivery service, as well as full text for a number of articles.
African Journals Online is a pilot project of the International Network for the Availability of Scientific Publications (INASP). It offers access to either the tables of contents or the full text of journals published since 1997.
African Journals Online is managed by INASP and received initial funding from UNESCO. Website address: http://www.oneworld.org/inasp/ajol/
Additionally, the full text of three medical journals, part of the Bioline service, can be found at the website: http://www.bdt.org.br/bioline
More details about the scheme are available from the project's programme manager, Linda White, who can be reached via e-mail at:
